It’s been a busy spring over here! Music has taken a backseat for the past few months as I’ve got a new sweet baby (born in February) who takes up all of my time and then some.
I’ve got a few new things that have been in the works for awhile. First, a collaboration with Barbara Adler and Kyla Gardiner for the serialized musical, Mermaid Spring. There’s a workshop coming up on June 8 at the Magnetic North Theater Festival at the CBC Studio 700, where you can go and hear two pieces I wrote with Barbara’s lyrics. It was really fun to do and I’m proud of how they turned out. More music in the works for this project in the coming year.
